Ballybunion Arts Festival
Set in the beautiful coastal cliff town of Ballybunion, the festival is a vibrant, family-friendly experience encapsulated by fun, entertainment and artistic engagement.
Each year BAF curates and exhibits a diverse programme of Arts and Culture including theatre, poetry, music, performance, visual art & workshops. We also aspire to integrate the Irish Language throughout the festival, focusing on traditional and indigenous artistry.
Our Relationship With
The Artists: BAF facilitates a mix or ‘cross-pollination’ between established & developing artists within the country. In doing so the Festival presents a creative platform for local & national artists to discover and engage with new audiences.
The Community: The Arts Festival highlights the natural beauty of the town and presents an opportunity for the public to gather at live cultural events as well as engaging with workshop activities and installations.

Carving Our Own Path
We are delighted to present the fourth year of the Ballybunion Arts Festival. Our team has created a wonderfully diverse program that includes the very best of Irish artists and rising stars.
We are particularly grateful to the local community and participants from last year, especially in the uncertain time of the pandemic.
We look forward to seeing you again in July. Don’t forget to sign up to our festival newsletter for the latest news, or click here to find out about our 2024 event programme.
